LEARN TO DATE QUILTS AND FABRICS
A two part package that contains The ABCs of Quilt and Fabric DatingŠ DVD video as well as the Fabric IDŽ CD. This innovative program teaches anyone the skills necessary for quilt dating as well as the dating of printed fabrics made between 1750 and 2000. Upon completion of the program, you will be able to place quilts and fabrics into the context of their circa date, or at the very least be able to make an educated guess.
The DVD video is a class, focusing on quilt and fabric style, characteristics, and color for each time frame from pre 1800 through 2000. The CD is the user's personal gateway to the FABRIC IDŽ Online Database of antique and vintage fabrics, each searchable by keyword or category.
For example once in the database program, if I want to search by keywords, I can enter the text of what I am looking for, here I enter, "1835 Prussian blue"
